Brief Answer:
Can you please send photos

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Regarding scars as a result of chicken pox, please be assured that these tend to reduce significantly with time 2-3 years. As a natural remedy, you can wash your face with besan (chickpea floor) and a pinch of turmeric once a day or two days.

If still not reduced, then there are allopathic treatments like silicon gel to be applied on scar only. Also other treatments like laser therapy, microneedling or dermaroller can be used under a dermatologists guidance, keeping in mind their after-effects as well.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
These scars will reduce by themselves

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

I have seen the photos carefully. Your scars are mild. These scars are common after chicken pox and these marks reduce significantly by themselves in few years time. So this would be my preferred suggestion.

The results with these treatments are also not so sure and may negatively affect the normal skin and cause sensitive skin, etc. So just be careful with these treatments and use it judiciously.
Amongst treatments, firstly try the natural methods like besan with turmeric to be applied lightly over face and washed off.
Creams that contain vitamin E or strong chemicals like salicylic acid (peel skin) should not be tried on normal skin. These should be applied only on scar tissue. Creams donot work many times.
Methods like dermaroller or laser are less invasive. It maybe tried under dermatologists guidance.

Brief Answer:
May take 6 m or 2-3 years to reduce

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

Face scars may remain for quite a long time but they tend to reduce by 6m to 2-3 years. The bigger pits may not resolve at all or may become smaller in size.
Applying coconut oil somehow helps with faster recovery.
