Question: What is Mild anisopoikilocytosis? Your advse to me Pl.
My recent Blood test report" Alerts RBCs : Mild anisopoikilocytosis. Predominantly normochromic with macroovalocytes.
platelets: Mildly reduced in smear. Some Macroplatelets seen."

Anisopoikilocytosis - Red blood cells of different shapes and sizes
Macroovulocytes - Enlarged, oval red blood cells

These are the features of Vitamin B 12 or Folate deficiency. Blood tests can easily diagnose the deficiency. Your report shows that you do not have any iron deficiency in blood.

It is easily treatable by vitamin b 12 and folate supplements.
