Question: I had a brown spot to appear on my finger on the palm side what could it be, I am african american

Ive seen the photo .It can be a eczema, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, melanocytic nevus ,malignant melanoma etc.

Also before going ahead I would like to know-

It it itchy?painful?

Since when you have this?
Is it stationary or increasing in size?

Is there any other symptoms that you have?
Are you on any medication?

Answer the above questions to help you better.
