Brief Answer:
Yes you can.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for choosing "Ask a Doctor" service for your query,
Have seen your query in detail and I appreciate your concerns,
Firstly both Imodium and Racicadotryl belong to different group of medications and have different lines of action.
Redotril is an anti secretory agent hence it stops secretion of mucous from small villi's of intestine while Imodium on the other hand is a constipating agent.
Both of them has no severe interaction.
Imodium dose should be less then 16 mg in a day while optimal dose of Redotril is 100 mg every 8 hours.
Better is to use Norfloxacin 400 mg instead of Ciplox along with Metronidazole(Covers anaerobic protozoa also) 400 mg thrice.

Rx
Tab Norfloxacin 400 mg twice daily
Tab Metronidazole 400 mg thrice daily
Tab Imodium (upto 16 mg/ day in divided doses)
Cap Redotril 100 mg thrice
Probiotic twice
Any Antacid.

Follow a soft diet
Banana
Apple sauce
Rice
And fruit based diet is good.

A stool routine and culture test should be done.
Hope I was helpful,
Thank you and feel free to follow up!

Dear Dr Sir Many thanks for your wonderful reply and it gives me great relief. One I live in Dubai so I don’t have Metronidazole but I have Norflox and ZanocinOZ which is Oflox with Ornidazole. She however can get mouth ulcers with ZanocinOZ. Is it ok for only Norflox or a day of Zanocin followed by then Norflox to prevent too much ulcers

Brief Answer:
Follow up.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
No problem sir
Give her Oflox Oz twice daily(Stop ciplox).
Mouth ulcers are a side effect of antibiotic therapy.
Just add Becosule( B complex) tablet once daily in her schedule and mouth sores would go away.

But I would recommend you to use oflox oz for complete coverage of anaerobic bacteria also.
Hope I was helpful,
Thank you and feel free to follow up.
