Cab Verorab Vaccine Cause Fever?
Question: Can verorab vaccine cause low grade fever if yes how long will it last and should I treat it?
Brief Answer:
Yes, Shouldn't last more than 48hours! Take tylenol!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Verorab can cause very mild fever but this is certainly related to the inflammatory process. It shouldn't really go beyond 24hours. Tylenol: 1000mg every 8hours for 24hours is good enough. If this fails, then I suggest you get further evaluation as there might be another cause to this.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.

Brief Answer:
48hours!
Detailed Answer:
HI,
As this vaccine is injected, the body mounts and inflammatory response to it. This is what happens each time the body identifies a foreign body and suffers aggression(At the side of injection). This low grade fever is not caused by an infection and it should generally resolve within 48hours.
I hope this clarifies your worries. I wish you well.
