Can Aspirin Be Taken Everyday While Having Tightness And Swallowing Difficulty?
you'd better not...
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
aspirin is a fine drug against fever and pain but when it comes to safety there are some issues. Taking low dose aspirin (100mg) is not usually enough for these indications, while the normal dose (500mg) is too high to be used frequently. Problems associated with frequent aspirin use include peptic ulcer, kidney insult, blood pressure elevation, increased liver function tests, etc.
Therefore taking aspirin once in a while is fine for most people but taking it regularly is not. Taking the low dose aspirin for preventive purposes (as primary prevention for cardiovascular events) is also against current evidence unless the patient belongs to a high risk group.
I hope you find my comments helpful!
Kind Regards!
