Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for asking on this platform
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the details.
Your question is whether you can give benadryl or not.
My answer is NO.
Benadryl is not needed as already your doctor has started allegra (fexofenadine)an antiallergic.Benadryl is also an antiallergic.
Nasonex contains mometasone(steroid). As your doctor has recently upgraded the treatment, I suggest you to wait for 24-36 hours to see any improvement.I hope with the increment of dose of singulair and adding allegra and nasonex would help.
Continue giving flovent.Giving steam inhalation and phenylephrine or pseudoephedrine nasal spray (a decongestant) would provide some additional relief.
Please let me know if you have any more query.
Wishing for your child's speedy recovery.
Regards
Happy to help :)
