Question: I am 28 year old male had the problem hand scribbling so doctor prescribed me Betacap Tr 40 morning and Nurokind LC at night, may be because I told him about my family had diabetic problems.
But recently I met with a road accident,my tibia was broken had an operation to insert a rod inside the bone. Now I am prescribed with Mobizox 500,Ultracet,Rivotril 0.5 mg.These medicines I have to continue for 3 months.
My doubt is can I take my usual medicine Betacap and Nurokind with these new medicines. Also will there be any side effects for taking the other medicines for three months ?

Brief Answer:
It is unlikely to have the side effects if you use these medications
Detailed Answer:
Betacap Tr 40 and Nurokind are prescribed for the treatment of hand scribbling or tremors. Mobizox 500 contains pain killers, muscle relaxant so as to enable your mobility, Rivotril is used for anxiety Ultracet is prescribed for severe painful conditions.
You may continue to take these medications along with Betacap and Nurokind, as such there are no drug to drug interactions.
However, you might get some drowsiness, muscle weakness, fatigue due to these medications.

Thank you.To be precise I am taking 1 betacap tr 40,1 Nurokind Lc,1 Mobizox after breakfast. No medicines after lunch.1 Mobizox and 1 Rivotril 0.5mg at bed time.Ultracet only if having severe pain.
What exactly is this Nurokind Lc for ?
But when I check my BP,it showed 140/98 pulse rate of 95.Is this because of the extra medication I take for ortho.Do I need to take a BP medicine or will it decrease once I stop ortho medicine after 3 months.?
Note:I measured BP using an automatic machine laying down in the bed keeping head feet at same level.

Brief Answer:
Hi How are you?
Detailed Answer:
I really appreciate your concern towards the safety of the medicines prescribed.
Nurokind is a vitamin B12 preparation good for your nerves.
As per the new guidelines for the diagnosis of hypertension, BP of 140/90 is taken as high normal and does not need any medication to lower it.
Tab Mobizox contains Diclofenac sodium in addition to paracetamol ( used for mild to moderate pain) and chlorzoxazone ( the muscle relaxant).
There is a possibility of Diclofenac sodium to increase your BP.
Some time pain also increases the BP.
The second dose of Betacap can be taken in the evening time but after taking the opinion of your doctor.
For the accurate recording of BP you are advised to get it measured by manual sphygnomanometer (BP Apparatus).
I hope your doubts have been clarified.
Take care
