Can Bystolic Be Taken When Suffering From Atrial Fibrillation?

nebivilol + Afib = safe,Afib needs management
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking!
Bystolic is a beta 1 selective blocker and is used for hypertension up to 40 mg a day depending upon the hypertension severity. It has no contraindication with simultaneous afib. Rather it is indicated in afib and irregular and rapid heart beats of a fib are synchronized and controlled by it due to strong association of Afib with hypertension. It should not be used in situation of low heart rates less than 50 or heart blocks second or third degree or liver derangements.
Rest assured Bystolic should be taken to control hypertension in dosages recommended by your cardiologist irrespective of afib. Which itself needs management with ablative techniques like RFA or Compartmentalization of atria and permanent pacemakers.
Discuss the option of your cardiac resynchronization with your cardiologist as i can see some challenges to that like advanced age, associated comorbidities of diabetes and hypertension and anesthetic complications of geriatric age limits.
I hope you got what you were looking for. Nebivolol should be taken in doses specified and afib should be managed with its proper management protocol.
I hope it helps. Dont forget to close the discussion please.
May the odds be ever in your favour.
