Can Calpol For Fever Azithromycin Antibiotic For Bacterial Infection Good ?
Question: I have viral for last five days and fever is not going down medication taken- calpol 500, azithromycin(2 tablet) and then changed to plasmocef 500 as directed by doctor along withnb plus, ebast M, defcort 6 and mucinac600 with ascoril sf cough syrup. These all are recommended ny doctor at Sahara hospital where they have taken chest xray(normal) blood test(normal ige and other tests)

Calpol is paracetamol, for fever
Azithromycin is antibiotic for bacterial infection
I dont know any medicine by name plasmocef. Pulmocef is also an antibiotic for bacterial infections.
NB plus is possibly multivitamins
Ebast M is for long term asthma
Defcort 6 is corticosteroid mostly used for asthma
Mucinac is acetylcysteine and may help dissolve the mucous
