Can Candid - B Be Used In The Genital Areas?
Question: can I use candid - B in the testicular area and penis ? Is it harmful ? I get a lot of itching at night in that area. Also when having bath.
Brief Answer:
Yes you can
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting your query.
Candid b contains anti fungal agent and a steroid . Using it on skin will not cause problems but on mucosa like tip if penis for long term may cause tissue damage.
If you are using outside the penis head then it's fine . But itching could be due to other cause also which needs to be evaluated.
Any clarification feel free to ask.
Happy to answer.

Brief Answer:
2-3 weeks
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Fungal infections are slowly responsive infections . So medication has to be used for 2-4 weeks for genital infections
You can use it for 3 weeks at a strech
If used for long time the steroid content in the cream may cause thinning of skin followed by breakage or ulceration with super added bacterial infection.
Any further clarification feel free to ask. If none kindly close the discussion and rate my answer.
