Question: sleep issues, i have stage 5 ckd ,im not on dialisiy , but taking many blood pressure bills, cavovil 25 mg, twice a day with 50mgs of htz, could thT cause m

Hello,

first of all I suppose the drug names are carvedilol and HCT (hydrochlorothiazide), right? Carvedilol may (rarely though) cause sleep issues but we don't usually expect it. Are there any other reasons for the disturbed sleep like other drugs, alcohol/caffeine/supplements use that may interfere, etc. Advanced chronic kidney disease is a very common cause of disturbed sleep, so perhaps you should look no further than this. You can talk about it with your nephrologist.
