Can Cefran Be Taken During Pregnancy?

Question: Hi ,
I am 7 and half months pregnant and due on XXXXXXX 10th 2017.I did my urine routine recently in which my puss cell count was 25-30.My doctor has prescribed me Cifran 500 mg twice daily and Cranbe 300 mg twice daily for 10 days after doing the urine culture.
Below are the list of drugs which are resistant and sensitive as per the urine culture done -
Resistant drugs -
1.Cefuroxime
2.Amoxicillin + Clavulanic
Sensitive Drugs -
1.Cefoperazone + salbactum
2.Colistin
3.Amikacin
4.Cefotaxime
5.Ciprofloxacin
6.Ertapenem
7.Gentamicin
8.Imipenem
9.Levofloxacin
10.Meropenem

Is it safe to take Cefran 500 mg during pregnancy as when I checked the internet it is a Category C drug.Can I take taxim o 200 mg or any other drug ?

Can take cefixime

Hello Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
At this gestation cefran can be taken for short duration but in my opinion it is best avoided.
So take cefixime instead twice a day for 5 days.
Drink a lot of water.

But Cefixime is not mentioned in the Sensitive drugs list in my culture report attached (have also mentioned the list above). So, will it work and help in curing UTI ?
