Can Cialis And Tamsulosin Be Taken Together?
2) what is the difference between modified release Metformin vs Osmotic release metformin? in other way what is the difference between modified release tablet vs osmotic release tablet
Tab Cialis and Tansulosin has minor interaction.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your question.
Noted your concern.
1) Tab Cialis contains Tamsulosin.
Tamsulosin when given with other medicines for lowering blood pressure (anti hypertensive drugs) may accelerate the fall in blood pressure and may cause fainting (dizziness with black out and fall).
Tamsulosin has weak blood pressure lowering action.
When both given together there may be fall in blood pressure especially in upright standing position (postural hypotension) and may cause fainting.
So better to avoid simultaneous intake of both against advise of treating doctor.
2) Both modified release metformin and osmotic release metformin are formulations to extend drug release over a longer period of time and to prolong drug action.
Modified release technology uses polymer while in osmotic release technology tablet coating absorb water causing formation of micro-pores causing slow release of core drug.
Hope this helps you.

question 2, i did not understand, can you clear it up with normal terminology. thank you.
More the dose of medicine more potent is the action.
Detailed Answer:
1) In general as dose of medicine increases its proposed action become more stronger.
Dose of individual drug is decided depending upon individual patient's requirement.
Which is based on depending upon physical examination.
So chances of low blood pressure is more with cialis 20mg than cialis 5 mg.
2) Normally drug are formulated depending upon duration of action desired.
Metformin in regular formulation get absorbed over shorter period of time and instant action that may increases the chances of side effects.
Whatever the technologies mentioned in your question are used to prolong the action of metformin.
Hope this helps.
