Brief Answer:
Continue messaging, get him examined by an ophthalmologist.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through the query and do understand your concern.
Most of the time watering of the eyes improves as the baby grows and subsides in almost all cases by 1 year of age. Continue massaging as it helps in opening of the duct which is the most common cause.
Get him evaluated by an ophthalmologist to rule out local abnormality for watering.
I don't think antibiotic is needed as there is no other sign of infection.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

but doctor since yesterday the discharge is high from left eye to an extent that she was not able to open her eyes.what to do
Brief Answer:
As the discharge is sticky, continue antibiotic drop as advised.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
As the discharge is not clear and it is sticky I would suggest you to continue the antibiotic drop as advised. Look for other signs of infection like redness, swelling, yellow colored discharge etc.
Apart from putting drops you need to clean the eyes gently with help of sterile cotton soaked in distilled water at least 6-8 times a day. Start cleaning from inner side to the outer side and use a new cotton swab for each time.
It may take 5-6 days for competing recovery.
If the symptoms are worsening, please consult your pediatrician/ophthalmologist for further evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
