Question: can Clomid give a false positive even after 8 weeks into pregnancy?

No it will not give a false positive result.

A pregnancy test detect hcg hormone in blood and urine and give positive results.
Clomid a fertility drug does not contain hormone hcg in it, so it will not give false positive results.
