Can Colcrys Allupurinol And Ciprofloxacin HCL Be Taken Together?

Question: Yes I would like to know if there would be any interaction with these medicines taken together COLCRYS ALLUPURINOL and the antibiotic CIPROFLOXACIN HCL 500 MG
Brief Answer:
There is no interaction
Detailed Answer:
Hi and than you so much for this query.
I have looked at these medications, individually and collectively and there is no possible drug interaction between them. Avoid taking ciprofloxacine with milk or dairy products at the same time as they reduce absorption into the system. Also, keep away from grape fruit as it can increase colchicine concentrations to dangerous levels.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarification of need be.
