Can Crina-NCR Be Taken For Irregular Menstruation?

Question: I m trying to conceive since 4 months. My cycle is not irregular but long like 38 days. But sometimes it is 32 days also. I told the same to my gynae. She told me take mynosar, folic acid and on 16 the day of period start taking crina ncr 10 mg one tablet for 10 days. Try to conceive between day 10 to day 18 for three months. I want to know tab crina ncr is safe?? Bcz this month we tried but again I got my date but this time on exact 29th day. I think because of crina ncr. I am confused. Plz help.

This tablet contains progesterone (nor ethisterone) which is safe and also regularises cycles.

you can instead take MEDROXYPROGESTERONE like DUPHASTON or SUSTEN which are more safer while trying for pregnancy , but make sure to consult with your Gynec. doctor before taking any prescription drugs.

Thanx for the answer. Sir I want to know that with the course of 3 months of this medicine as I told u... Is there any chance of getting pregnant? Is it required to be together for that day10 to day18 .?? If we skip some days ...will it effect the chance of getting pregnant..?

Yes. There is chance of pregnancy if you try for 3 months.

It is important to have sexual Intercourse when egg is released ( ovulation). This can be tested by simple urine test by ovulation prediction kits.Having sex around those days is more useful than between 10 to 18 days.

For pregnancy to happen when should I start taking that Progesterone medicine crina ncr?? My doc says start from day 16...sir is it sure that ovulation has occurred before that..or should it be taken before ovulation... M confused that what is the use of this medicine at day 16. ?

Day 16 is considering your ovulation pattern as per your cycle dates.

But as you said it is better to confirm ovulation before by ovulation prediction kit or follicular growth scan to know if ovulation is happening.
