Brief Answer:
can take till age 35

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

Crisanta contains two hormones estrogen [ ethinyl estradiol] and progesterone [ drospirenone].

The estrogen component has certain undesirable effects like it can cause blood clots, breast cancers, liver dysfunction. The effects are seen in a small proportion of women and they are more common after the age of 35 years.

So it is better to get periodic health examinations if the pills are used for prolonged periods. You may take them safely for as long as needed till age 35. After that it is better to continue them under the guidance of a doctor [ especially if you smoke] and after having regular health examinations.

The pills are safe and if taken properly do not cause much issues.

Hope this satisfies your query.
