Can Cymbalta Replace Tramadol And Trazodone For Treating Insomnia And Nerve Damage?
Question: I have just been prescribed Trazodone for insomnia. Been using it for a week and it has unpleasant side effects(dazed and confused in the am, dry mouth) and I also take 100mg of Tramadol each day for nerve damage and weakness to my right leg. Not feeling great these days. Could Cymbalta be a substitute for both of these medications?
Brief Answer:
Not best substitute
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I suggest you ask your doctor about Zolpidem which has lesser side effects. Cymbalta can be used but not the best substitute for the problems that you have.
You can take Pregabalin or Gabapentin with Methylcobalamin for the nerve damage and weakness. So there are better substitutes.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
