Question: Can DNA non invasive paternity parental test be wrong?

I did a NIPP test with women who is pregnant in her 12 week to determine whether the baby is mine or not and the result was negative 0% match.

I read online that the results could be wrong so for my peace of mind i would like someone to confirm to me that the results are 99.99% as they claim to be.

Brief Answer:
It is 99.9 % accurate.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Thanks for trusting us about your healthcare.

I have gone through your history and understand your concern.

NIPP test is 99.9%accurate in diagnosing the paternity after 7th weeks of pregnancy.
So in your case if negative, then it is correct.

If you suspect the results to be wrong, you can go for more invasive procedure like CVS after 10 weeks.

Hope you find it useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck

Thanks for you answer.

Just wanted to know if the blood and swab sample can be effected or contaminated during shipping which could effect the results.

Because the test was done through a kit that was shipped to me and i had to ship it back from kuwait to london.

Yes it may affect the results

Hi,
Sorry for the delay in my response.
Yes,it may get contaminated and test results may vary but in my opinion they will take all the precaution for sample collection and testing to avoid any false results, so need to worry about it.
Hope found useful. Regards
