Can Dilzem CD Be Replaced With Dilzem SR For Effective Treatment Of Hypertension?
Question: Hello doc,
Request your expert advice urgently. I am attaching the ECG report for my mother which has been taken yesterday, can you please guide me if there are any abnormalities .
My mom has hypertension for the same she has been taking Dilzem CD 90 from 2 months but now after the ECG report of yesterday doc has changed the tablet to Dilzem SR 90 . I need to know the reason as to why the medication has been changed and why the P wave is negative 1. Can you please guide urgently.

Negative P waves usually signifies right or left atrial abnormality and a negative ST T change signifies myocardial ischemia.
But I don't find any significant abnormality in the ECG which you have uploaded here.

Thank you doctor. Then why the blood pressure is not getting controlled even after taking medication for about 3 months now. Also i am attaching the lipid profile test can you please evaluate
