Can Econorm Be Taken For Diarrhea?

Question: My 5 yrs son got typhoid doctor prescribe zifi 100 readymix ,now after 7 days he got severe loose motion and pain in tummy ,can I give him econorm for loose motion and drotin for pain together with zifi

You can give Econorm. You can give 1 XXXXXXX thrice a day for 5 days.

I suggest you use zinc supplements (Z&D drops 1ml once daily for 14 days) & ORS (Each small packet mixed in 200ml of potable water and keep giving sip by sip) as hydration is very important and crucial part of treatment.

Econorm and zinc are prescription drugs.

Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry.
