Brief Answer:
Ecosprin should be stopped only if the stroke is hemorrhagic one.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

I understand your concern.

Its extremely important that antiplatelet drugs like Ecosprin have to be used with caution in patients with brain stroke, since it can potentiate bleeding manifestations in brain and worsen the clinical findings of stroke.

Its important to reduce the dosage and stop the drug gradually if the stroke is hemorrhagic one.

It should be used only in cases of ischemic stroke in dosages of 50-325 mg/day PO within 48 hours of stroke , then 75-100 mg/day PO as maintenance.

Strocit can be used without a restriction.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Please upoad CT scan report to evaluate hemorrhagic or ischeamic stroke.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

Welcome again,

I understand your query and concern.

Please upload CT scan report to evaluate hemorrhagic or ischemic stroke.

As I said earlier Ecosprin should be continued as a part of maintenance therapy in ischemic stroke.

Post your further queries if any,

Thank you.
