Can Ecosprin And Susten Be Taken During Early Stage Of Pregnancy?

Question: I am in my early stage of pregnancy.. doctor advised to take ecosprin 150 and sustin injections 200 twice a week, which causes fever for around 2 days 100Â° and pain.. all was well during 1st pregnancy suffered high BP in 8month last days. baby is premature but well .
please suggest.

thanks for the query,
If your pregnancy is early and if foetal heart rate has not arrived then you can continue ecospirin 150mg daily but can switch to daily oral medication of micronized progesterones like CHEMOGEST 200 AT NIGHT INSTEAD OF INJECTIONS TO PROVIDE PROGESTERONE SUPPORT TO PREGNANCY.
Please review with your latest ultrasound report. Also would like to know if you had pre-eclampsia in your previous pregnancy?

I had high Blood pressure problem in the last days of 8th month due to which the baby is premature...ultradound is not done yet..she said to get it done in 7th week

Hello,
That confirms that you had pre-eclampsia during last pregnancy and hence ecospirin should be continued. You can get a repeat scan after 2 weeks to check for foetal heart rate and for viability of foetus and then can share it with me. Till then continue on medications. yoU SHOULD BE ON DAILY FOLIC ACID tab and also Tab meclizine 50mg OD for nausea and vomiting, if present.
Progesterone effect can be countered by increasing water intake.

I have one more query..i am having white discharge and also have the feeling of getting down/periods..is this normal?

hello,
white discharge is not normal and indicates a possible vaginal candida infection.so please get a high vaginal swab culture done to rule out any infection. Also mild pain in both iliac region is common and XXXXXXX due to uterosacral ligaments laxity.
