Brief Answer:
Not advisable.

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern regarding drug interactions.

I wonder what you take only 2.5 mg of Eliquis for, if you mean 2.5 mg a day it is too low a dosage, usually it is taken at least twice daily.

Eliquis is an anticoagulant drug, a blood thinner. Ibuprofen while usually used for pain has also a blood thinning effect as well.

So formally the combination of the two is not advised because it increases the risk for hemorrhagic complications. It is preferable to use a product such as Acetaminophen (Paracetamol) for the headache.

If acetaminophen is not effective at all and since you take a low dosage of Eliquis, when the headache is real intense a low dosage of Ibuprofen may be tried. But not 800 mg which is a high dosage, only a 200-400 mg pill.
Also if you do not suffer usually from headaches, if this is a first time or an atypical headache, you should see a physician first to make sure there are no other neurological signs which might indicate a brain hemorrhage which may manifest with headache and necessitates interruption of blood thinners.

I remain at your disposal for other questions.
