Can Forte Be Taken Instead Of Biotin Safely?
Question: I want to try the medication provided by dermatologist doctor in health care magic as explained in "What solutions have you tried to date?" Have not tried yet. Already got a folica solution. For biotin tablet 10mg, I got BTN forte tablet. Is it safe to use and how long should I take this tablet?

I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and i have noted your concern.
An even better option than folica solution is minoxidil 5% solution. Minoxidil is a more specific option for treatment of hair fall in males. You may use it in 1ml measured quantity, twice daily on scalp skin.
Biotin tablet is safe and can be taken as long as needed. There is no restriction on duration of treatment witg biotin. In addition to biotin you may also take a tablet of finasteride 1mg once daily.
Treatment with combination of minoxidil, finasteride and biotin must be continued for at least 6-12 months for noticeable improvement. Thereafter, either minoxidil or finasteride can be continued life long for maintenance of improvement.
All these treatment options are safe, effective and approved for hair loss in males.

Take finasteride (finax) and BTN together in morning after breakfast.
Minoxidil solution is to be applied, 1ml, twice daily i.e morning and evening, 12 hours apart.
