Question: My Wife is having more acne problems for the last couple of days. May be due to summer but it's not getting recovered on its own. Please suggest.

Also, her friend suggested using "Fusidic Acid Betamethasone Valerate Cream" but when I checked online it's not suitable so I asked her not to use it.

Brief Answer:
Use clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photograph.
She has grade 2 acne.
You did a great thing by not allowing her to use Betamethasone. It's a strong steroid and would have completely damaged her face.
She can use the following :-
1. Clindamycin 1 % gel in morning
2. Benzoyl peroxide 2.5 % gel in night
3. Use a salicylic acid or glycolic acid based face wash if acne is severe
4. Use a water based sunscreen such as suncot gel.
All the above medication to be used for at least three months.
These are safe and effective and usually available over the counter.
She must reduce oil intake in diet to control acne. She should also wash face at least three times in a day.
Reduce intake of food with high glycemic index such as chips and bakery products.
Ask her to drink lot of water and increase intake of fiber rich diet.
These might appear to be a general advice but actually these are going to help her.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
