Question: I've been on opiods for pain management from six back surgeries for 30 years. My
doctor Rx Gabapentin and I think I can wean off the Norco. Do I do it slowly or cold turkey?

Gabapentin will help with pain. The speed at which you should stop the Norco depends on the dose. What dose are you taking? Note that stopping opioids cold turkey will not harm you or risk any serious consequences, but can be very uncomfortable if you are currently taking a high dose.
