Can Glimsave M2 Be Taken In One And A Half Dose?
Don't do by yourself, consult with Diabetologist.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I think you are taking this medication for diabetes after consultation with Diabetologist. May I know why you want to take this medication one and a half?
It supposes to take in the right dosage and at the right time as per the Diabetologist advice.
As this does is fixed as per your blood sugar level. It may change as per blood sugar level. For that, you have to follow up diabetologist regularly.
If you increase the dose on your own, then my chance of hypoglycemia. So never try this without expert opinion.
If your sugar level increased when you check at home, then consult with a doctor, he will increase the dose or will change medications after the examination.
Don't change the dose based on one finding by yourself. Check HbA1c once if not done earlier.
So don't take it as one and a half.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care

No, you can't break tablet in two halves. See details.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can understand your problem. It should not be broken in two halves because its a sustained release tablet.
There may be a chance of sudden release of medicines which may cause hypoglycemia.
As well as you can't predict that medication is divided equally into two parts and preserved its property. So I will suggest you not to break the tablet. Kindly follow up with any query.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
