Can HIV Be Contracted After Using An Unwashed New Tooth Brush?

Question: Hai doc,
I have face a problem that I have bought a new tooth brush and unseal it.
Unfortunately, I believe that I forgot to wash the toothbrush and direct put the toothpaste on it. The toothbrush was new and I don't understand the produce procedure. I afraid some HIV worker will drop some body fluid or blood while producing. The point of I worry is any germs or HIV virus stay on the toothbrush especially it's backside? My mouth bleeding when I brush it and it's possible to be a wound or an entry point to let HIV into my body?
I am really worry about this, please help me and do analysis the risk for me.

Brief Answer:
HIV transmission risk through a brand new tooth brush is almost nil.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
Tooth brushes are not hand made and they are machine made only. Whatever may be the way of making or packing, transmission risk of HIV through a brand new tooth brush is almost nil.
HIV can not be viable outside the body fluids for not more than few seconds. So there is no possibility of acquiring HIV infection by using a new tooth brush without washing prior to use.

Doc,
I have found a unknown scratch on my leg and its not bleeding. I could felt it is a scratch when touch softly with my hand. It's seem not very deeply but still can be found and felt.
In this circumstance, could be considered any HIV risk?

Brief Answer:
Unknown scratch over the leg has no risk for HIV
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
If you consider this as a risk for HIV, then every one of us in this world are at risk for HIV, including an infant to elderly individuals. Moreover children are more prone to get injured. But anywhere in the world HIV statistics indicate that HIV is uncommon with extremes of age. So this has no risk for HIV.
You need to have a consultation and counselling with a psychiatrist to alleviate such paranoid ideas. Nothing to worry.
