Can HIV Be Contracted Through A Wound On Testicle During Protected Intercourse?

Question: I had protected sex with a hiv+ girl, but 3 days before I shaved my private parts and I had 2 or 3 small cuts on my testicles. When I had sex the small cuts were not bleefing - i guess they were crusted. Since she was on top of me and her vaginal liquid was in contact with that wounds, will I be infected with hiv?

1. I hope you had a condom on during sex with a HIV positive partner. Using a condom reduces the risk of HIV transmission.

2. The skin cuts might have healed in 3 days. It is unlikely that HIV containing vaginal fluid will enter the wound and cause infection in you.

3. Even if you have used condoms, I suggest you get tested by 4th generation HIV 1 and 2 antibodies and p24 antigen combo test after 30 days. This test is accurate when done 30 days after the exposure. This is for peace of mind.

Hmm I guess was not 3 days before, it was 2 days before (48 hours), is your answer the same? No possible to get hiv from the non bleeding small cuts?

And yes we used condom, an extra thick one.

1. Cuts during shaving are superficial and unlikely to be deep. These cuts stop bleeding in a few minutes and in 6 hours the cells under the skin start to seal the sound. There is no danger even if it happened 2 days after shaving. Please do not panic.

2. Good to know you guys used an extra thick condom.

3. Therefore my answer is the same as earlier. There is no risk from the above event.
