Can HIV Be Contracted Through Contact With Infected Objects?

Question: hi I was picking up stuff at work place at the Pool Area off the ground around 1045 in the morning as i was picking off items off the ground I noticed two pieces of an item that were separate from each other i can recall it was a black thing i think not certain not sure now I'm paranoid in trying not this thing interfere with my life i looked in the trash again to make sure what item it was i think it was black not sure am i risk for anything hiv? to my understanding i was not bleeding on my finger i used alchol pads for the area than a shower never burned i don't think What do you think testing? lease ask your hiv Specialist thanks I want least two doctors to read this concern i have

and the things is i hadd something in my eye So i wish i had taken a photo of it what item it was/ ): Should i REALLY GET TESTED?

I would suggest you not to worry at all and remove all your fears and anxiety.I would like to inform you that the HIV virus is an intracellular obligate pathogen meaning it lives only inside the cell and once the HIV virus comes outside the human body it becomes non viable and dies immediately. So you need not worry about HIV infection from an inanimate object. I recommend you no testing for HIV infection. As you told there was no blood so there is no risk of other infections as well.

Whatever the item was it was outside human body and HIV does not survives outside the body and dies. So there is no risk of contracting the infection. Do not think too much on the issue.
