Can HIV Be Contracted Through Exchange Of Saliva?
Question: I had sex with condom, but through saliva HIV will transmit? She did mouth process in my pennis. Will it transmit HIV, since i have no wound in penis too. Is any chance ???
Brief Answer:
HIV risk through oral sex is low.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
HIV transmission through oral sex is very low when compared to anal and vaginal sex as per CDC, XXXXXXX HIV concentration in saliva is not adequate to cause an infection. As you didn't have any external injury or abrasion over your penis, the chances of getting a HIV infection is remote.

Brief Answer:
When the saliva contains blood, HIV risk is little more.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
If that girl was a HIV positive individual and if she had ulcer or injury in her mouth or gum disease or otherwise if there was a chance for her blood mixed with her saliva, then there was an increase in risk when you had minute injury over your penis. There too, the risk is low compared to anal and vaginal sex.
But all these are probabilities. So you need not worry.
Anyhow rule out this least possibility of HIV risk through a HIV test 12 weeks after the contact.
