Can HIV Be Contracted Through Protected Intercourse?

Question: I had protected sex with a prostitute. Immediately after sex with no time some of her vaginal fluid which was on my pants touches my penis tip do i have a chance of hiv .
Brief Answer:
Your risk for HIV is negligible.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
You had protected intercourse. So you are safe from HIV/STD.
Contact of vaginal fluid through pant clothes is very much unlikely to have any risk for HIV. HIV can not be viable outside the body for more than few seconds. Moreover just a contact with the secretion alone is not enough to cause a new infection. Any small abrasions or break in the skin would facilitate the HIV transmission. So your risk for HIV is negligible only as per CDC, XXXXXXX U.S. Just forget about the incident. After 12 weeks get one HIV test to rule out the negligible possibility.

But I am suffering from diarrhoea from the week after I am exposure to this. I am very much worried that this could be the early symptoms of the disease. Please help me answer this.
Brief Answer:
Presence of Diarrhea is not necessarily due to HIV
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Diarrhea is a common problem for anybody. Even long before HIV is known to human kind, diarrhea was persisting for centuries. Presence of diarrhea does not indicate HIV disease.
Earliest manifestations of HIV can occur 4-6 weeks after the exposure, not earlier than this. That too, it would mimic more like a flu (fever, sore throat and body pain), rather than diarrhea.
Diarrhea in HIV disease can occur 5-7 years after the exposure. Not to worry. Consult your physician and get well soon.

I got my esr test done it is 26mm hr. Is it related to this.
Brief Answer:
Not indicative of HIV infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
ESR is a nonspecific test. It is not a diagnostic test. It is a supporting evidence only. The rise in ESR level is borderline only. Such an elevation can occur with many conditions like auto immune disorders, chronic diseases and sometimes even for a healthy individuals for sometime. It is not indicating HIV infection. Not to worry.
