Can HIV Be Contracted Through Protected Sex During Menstruation?
Question: I had waxing in my groin area and 8 hours after I engaged with commercial sex worker. I had protected vaginal sex.
Unfortunately I found out sex worker had menstruation and some blood from her ended up on my waxed area.
Are skin pores 8 hours after waxing considered close? Am I at risk for Hiv?.
Condom never broke and before removing it sex worker clean her blood with napkins.

The incidence happened 7 days ago.
I do not know hiv status of sex worker.
Waxing was at base of my penis, a bit of blood from Sex Worker's period drop there.
When I did waxing there were a few tiny drops of blood, I did it at 22 pm and at 06 am I had that encounter. Apparently my skin was intact at that time. It was 8 hours after waxing, but I was on party all night without sleeping and drinking thus I guess this could have impeared my skin healing.
I am really worried because sex worker denied to make an hiv test for me.
Could these skin pores still be opened to permit hiv penetration?
Am I at another std risk?, like hepatitis C and Syphilis?.

Brief Answer:
For peace of mind HIV PCR can be done....
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for answer and your further queries.
Your waxing was done 8 hours before the exposure, so as if the tiny blood has came out it will be closed by clotted blood.
Not sleeping and drinking won't affect healing procedure and so no possibility of HIV infection to you.
But for your peace of mind you can think for PCR testing. It is definitive investigation and the result is final once tested.
All the other mentioned viruses also won't spread as the skin pores is closed.
