Thank you sir. It's just that I'm having some ear infection which is giving me a running nose and throat irritation and as a result, I'm relating it to HIV. Also, I keep reading different things on the Internet which is scaring me. Please help.

Welcome back and thanks for follow-up.
Ear infection with running nose and throat problem is not related to HIV in any way. Consult some ENT surgeon for further management and avoid reading too much on internet also because it will increase your stress or anxiety nothing else. Hello again,
So, you're sure that my PCR and 4th generation tests are enough to move on and that no tests are further required.
Also, just for knowledge purposes I wanted to know, in a 4th generation test there is a both Antigen and Antibody which means that if anyone is HIV+, he'd come positive on either one of these by 6 weeks since either one of them would be present i.e if antigens are high, antibodies wouldn't be detectable and if antibodies are high, the level of antigen would be low, so either ways of one of the two would be picked up on the test right? I'm just curious to know this.

No further test is needed.

Dear XXXXXXX
Welcome to HCM once again.
As such you need not to go for any further test for HIV as 4th gen Duos test is negative at 6 weeks of exposure and it detects both antigen and antibody so just calm down, forget the episode and move on in life becaue you are absolutely safe and risk free.
Thank You
