Brief Answer:
There is little risk.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The risk of HIV transmission with unprotected sex is very minimal and I think there is no need to worry. If you go for the data the risk is just one in 1000 provided there were no cuts on the penis or there was no visible blood over it.

Having said this, since you had intercourse with a person who has high risk (prostitute). I think post exposure prophylaxis should be seen from a local doctor. The PEP should be started within 24 hours of exposure for the best results.

I hope this helps you. If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.

And the prostitute looks very young,I've asked about safty issue(hiv/253657?iL=true" >AIDS).she said that there is no problem regarding this. As I had unprotected sex only for one time,But this makes me depressed of spreading HIV into me

Brief Answer:
Need to stop worrying

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Absence of any cuts over penis rules out direct mixing of body fluids thus making it the least possibility. I understand that most of the commercial sex workers these days follow safety protocol and it is possible that she is clean.

I hope this helps you further. Let me know if I can assist you further. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Try to engage in one or other activities

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As we discussed today, the risk is very low and we need to stop thinking about it. The best strategy to stop thinking is to not to try to stop it. Rather than that, the mind should be occupied in some other activities leaving little time to think over it.

As a principle of stress management, spend time with friends and family, go for a walk, do deep breathing exercises, take plenty of water. These simple measures will help you further.

I hope this helps you further.
