Brief Answer:
Your symptoms are not necessarily due to HIV infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
Symptoms of muscle pains, rash and head ache and even the swollen glands are not specific only to HIV infection, these can occur due to various reasons including anxiety. How long after the exposure you had these symptoms, will give a clue whether it could be due to HIV or not? Your sex partner would remain HIV free. All the unprotected exposures are not necessarily infectious.
When you had your exposure? How long after the exposure you had your HIV test? Only with theses details one can confirm the validity of the test.
