Can HIV Be Contracted Through Vaginal Fluid Contact With Skin?
I have been in a monogamous relationship for 15 years, being faithful to my partner all that time. Last week I got an erotic massage. I feel terrible and I have had anxiety (and guilt) over the incident.
I booked in for a non-sexual nude massage. The establishment I went to only offers nude massage with hand relief and extras such as oral sex. We entered the room. The lady undressed and was completely nude. I kept my underwear on the whole time. I have limited knowledge in the area of STDs and I am wondering if I am at risk of an STD (or HIV) from any of the following:
1. The nude lady sat on my bottom while I was wearing underwear. Later I found a wet patch on my underwear. Can I get an STD if her vaginal fluids went through my underwear and into my anus?
2. The nude lady sat on my penis area briefly while I was wearing underwear. Later I found a wet patch on my underwear. Can I get an STD if her vaginal fluids went through my underwear and onto my penis?
3. The lady slid her hand under my underwear and tried to grab my penis. I immediately told her to stop as I was uncomfortable.
Do I need any testing as a result of this incident? Am I at risk of getting an STD (including HIV) from this encounter? Can I have unprotected sex with my regular partner? Is diarrhea a symptom of any STD?
Thanks very much for any comments about this.
it's very unlikely to get an STD this way
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
having your underwear on makes transmission very difficult, if possible. Any of the three acts you've mentioned should not pose any danger for transmission.
Diarrhea can be the presenting symptom of hiv/253657?iL=true" >AIDS (HIV virus) but it's impossible to get HIV this way. Anxiety sounds like a more likely cause for that. Transmission usually occurs when the diseased area (usually with a visible lesion but not always) comes into contact with the partner. The common STDs usually cause visible lesions. HIV does not cause visible lesions but it's difficult to get without direct mucosal or blood to blood contact.
I do not believe that any testing is necessary. If this will bring you piece of mind though, you can go on and test.
I hope you find my comments helpful!
Kind Regards!
