Can HIV Be Transmitted Through Accidental Contact With Urinal?
Question: I went to urinate in my office the other day and I slipped near the urinal. I think my penis tip touched the urinal by mistake. I wanted to ask whether I am at any kind of risk what's so ever ? And if yes what kind of infection risk. I am at risk of HIV or other kind of serious STDs please tell me and what precaution should I take as it happened yesterday. I am really scared please help me

I have gone through your query. It has never reported that HIV spread through urine. So you don't need to worry. But there is chance of spread of genital herpes theoretically. Even for that spread viral particles should be present more and it should contact mucous membrane of your genitals. So you don't need to worry.
You can wash the area with chlorhexine solution. Nothing else is needed.

So what should I do ? Do i need to take any PEP or anything or i am good to go yes i washed the area with water and soap after i came back home. And any other STD like hep b or hep c please answer my query as i am really scared. And should i take any precaution ?
