Can HIV Be Transmitted Through Non-penetrative Sexual Activity?

default
Posted on Sat, 4 Apr 2015
Question: Dear doc, I went to a spa yesterday and had a body to body massage. She was a young Asian girl and I do not know about her hiv/std status. She removed her clothes and started rubbing her breasts to my body and even touched her nipples with my unprotected erect penis. She kissed my body and nipples. She did not kiss any penis or balls. After that, she removed her panty, and sat on top of me. I am pretty sure there was no rubbing or penetration, but I am just worried what if her naked vagina would have touched by erect unprotected penis? Does it pose any risks for HIV/STD transmission? No sex of anykind happened, please help. I am also 90% sure that her vagina did not touch my penis or balls? But still I am worried. Please help.

Brief Answer:
No possibility of HIV transmission

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query. I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
Welcome to health care magic.
I have gone through the details and can make out your anxiety.
HIV is not transmitted by skin to skin contact. So allay fears of HIV from all the modes described.

But some STDs like herpes simplex virus can be transmitted by skin to skin contact or kiss, specially if there were active lesions in her at the time of contact.
Transmission of Other STDs are almost not a possibility.
You can get back for any clarification.

Thanks Doctor, I was getting sick worried of this mistake that I did. One small clarification, what if my penis skin is broken and still it got in touch with infected vagina? Does it possess any risk? Actually I have a bad habit of masturbation, and due to dryness the foreskin on my penis could be broken. So in this case, does my yesterday's experience pose any tranmission risk?

Thanks,
doctor

Brief Answer:
Risk if open wound comes in contact with secretion

Hi

I do not see the possibility of tear such that it can transmit HIV.Moreover vaginal secretions have not come in contact.
There are chances of transmission of HIV if secretions come in contact with open wound.

Doc, thanks for your reply. But, there was no penetration at all. I doubt if there was any touch of vagina with my penis. So, I just need final answer from you, should i need to go for a check up? Or, I can just leave it here and forget it? Again, there were no penetrations of any kind or, any oral sex or kissing. Nothing happened, not even rubbing of vagina. Since the place was having bad light (Candles), I am just worried if my penis by mistake got in touch with her wet vagina? That's my only worry. You can please reply for last XXXXXXX thanks
