Is there possibility to get the symptoms of HIV within 1 week of having contact.?? I'm suffering from headache and joint pains and I'm worried about it.. When there is a chance of feeling the symptoms after having contact??
Brief Answer:
Get yourself tested.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back again. The mentioned symptoms are more likely to be related to the anxiety and stress rather than HIV itself. If you were to get the symptoms due to HIV, the viral load (number of viruses present) would have to build up first and therefore you should test positive. Unless that is the case, you may consider the symptoms to be due to anxiety and not HIV itself.
