Can I Be Glycogen Depleted With Relatively Normal Blood Sugar

Question: Can I be glycogen depleted with relatively normal blood sugar (97 mg/dl)?
I felt nauseous after endurance exercise and felt like maybe I had low blood sugar, but my blood sugar was 97 mg/dl as tested with a glucometer and finger stick. I did have a piece of fruit and a glass of soda after testing my blood sugar and I feel great. I'm athletic with normal labs. No family history of diabetes. This happens to me 1 or 2 times a week if I workout for over an hour and don't eat something carby afterwards.
I have limited medical training, but I'm not sure if I can have normal blood glucose and depleted glycogen in my liver and muscle tissue.
