Question : Hey Doc. I have been looking at turmeric but am taking blood pressure meds and have 5 bypass surgery. what will it affect if i take it

Are you taking anticoagulation therapy like warfarin? In such case I would recommend avoiding turmeric, because it can increase their effects and thus increase the risk for bleeding.
