Can I Get HIV From Someone Else's Feces?

Question: Can you get HIV from someone else's feces? I used a public restroom at a shelter that had dried up feces on the side of the toilet paper and used the paper before realizing it. It was dried and look several hours old at the least. It was on the flat part of the toilet paper roll, near the hole, on the lining. The stain was about the size of a dime, maybe smaller. Can you get infected if it makes contact with your anal opening? There was NO blood on the paper.
Brief Answer:
You will not get hiv from that.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I don't think you can get hiv from being in contact with contaminated toilet paper.
The main way of contracting hiv is by blood contact or with sexual contact but boy with fecal way.
So you may be sure that you will not get hiv from that accident.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
