Can I Have My Spinal MRI Reviewed?
Question: Can I have my spinal mris reviewed and ask a few questions about them
I am losing the ability to move move my legs and arms. I also have a nerve stimulator because I lost the ability to feel when I need to use the bathroom. I’ve been told I have drop foot. I need guidance on what to ask my doctors. I’ve dealt with a lot of issues for decades and have dealt with that by ignoring my symptoms. My physical therapist has stated by her evaluation there’s something serious being missed. Thank you for any help
Brief Answer:
Other conditions such as polyneuropathy for example to consider.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have read your question and the MRI reports that you uploaded.
There are multiple-level degenerative changes in your cervical spine with small herniations but with no significant compression or spinal cord damage to justify the inability to move your extremities.
I see from the report that you had neck and lumbosacral spine surgeries.
It is necessary to be evaluated by your Neurologist for your problems.
In my opinion, other conditions such as polyneuropathy, for example, should be considered and evaluated further.
Discuss with your Neurologist.
I hope you found the answer helpful.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
