Can I Quit Pap Smears Screening Sexually Not Active?

Question: Hello, I have had 20 Pap smears over the years since I was 19. Before kids after kids yearly etc. all normal. I had normal one 8 years ago and 5 years ago I had negative HPV high risk test. I am not sexually actively. Haven’t been for 11 years. I will never be again due to personal reasons. Can I quit screening please? I have never had an abnormal pap or test ever. Was with the same man for 10 years before I quit sec all together. I am 43 now. Thanks

I had 15 normal Pap smears when I was with the same man. Never abnormal. Haven’t been sexually actively since with anyone else.

Thanks for the query,
Yes, you can quit 3 yearly pap smear examination hence. As your previous pap smears are negative for hpv or any infection or ant dysplasia and you are no more sexually active , so the need doesn't arise.
You may opt one , if ever you experience any vaginal foul smelling discharge / abnormal vaginal discharge in future.
