Can I Safely Fly When I Have An Ear Infection And A Ruptured Eardrum?

Question: I got an ear infection on Monday evening and my eardrum ruptured that night. I went to the doctor yesterday and started an antibiotic plus ear drops. I am scheduled to fly from Alabama to California in 11 days. Can I safely fly without doing further damage to my ear?
Brief Answer:
Yes, you can fly
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If you confirm that ear drum already ruptured then the biggest problem is risk of infection. For that you are already on antibiotic drops.
In case of flight the risk is rupturing the ear drum which already happened so you can safely fly.
Since the flight is 11 days from now you would be healed by then and the ear drum shall start healing once infection clears off.
