Can I See A Heartbeat By 7 Weeks Of Early Pregnancy?

Question: Hello Doctor. Just 2 weeks back, I found out that I'm pregnant. My LMP is 12th April, 2018. My last beta Hcg taken on 22nd May, 2018 is 11,600. My Doctor asked me to go for a scan. I felt that it was too early to see a heartbeat on ultrasound. According to my LMP, I will now be 6 weeks and 3 days. I'm planning to go for scan 4 days later when I will be 7 weeks. Can I see a heartbeat by then or will it still be early? Thank you.

Doctor, Is week of gestation different from weeks according to LMP??

Week of gestation is calculated manually by calculating from your last menstrual period date and radiologically by Ultrasound.

Doctor am I allowed to eat Prawns? I read mixed reviews about it online. I'm eating it at home and it is well cooked. But people say that it causes lot if heat...so safe to avoid it. Please advise.

You should avoid non vegetarian food as far as possible due to risk of infections.
If you are sure about the Hygiene part, prawns are not at all contraindicated in pregnancy.

Thank you Doctor. Is it ok to have intercourse in early pregnancy?? We are trying to avoid it as much as possible. But today we did it and I had an orgasm after which I felt mild cramps...am worried if it would have harmed my baby. Please help.
